MASTER
PLANNING
Master planning is the planning
of several building elements that include both immediate and long-term needs.
A master plan is designed so that the final or on-going projects will have a unified
design and the owner will have an organized method of meeting those needs.
Without
a master plan, many buildings look like a series of unrelated "add-ons"
and often, the owner doesn’t know what to do next. Many times immediate
items get located in places that should be reserved for future projects causing
problems and necessary costs in the future.
To
eliminate these problems, we study all of the needs and prepare a comprehensive
plan within a specific design concept. We will determine priorities and desired
construction budget, and develop a ‘phased construction program’ to
meet those needs within a certain period of time.
The
exact cost for these services depends on many factors, such as size and complexity.
Therefore, we will need to determine certain requirements before an exact estimate
can be given.
We hope this information is helpful.
At the appropriate time, we would be pleased to meet with your Board or Building
Committee to discuss these issues in more detail.
